I prefer this one to the first one, mostly because of the more dynamic feeling.

Just two observations:
first, the text should be a bit more integrated in the picture or at least it sould be bigger.
second: that projectile just isn't tough enough. I know you don't ecactly shoot with a haubitze but man I want to be SCARED of that thing, like give the gun at least one hell of a muzzle flash. I want to think "BAAAMM" and not just "plop".

So either make no projectile at all or just forget the realism and make the think look like it could blow your face apart.

As for the rest, I really like it.

it look good, the only thing is the left arm, the red seems to merge with the chest, beside that looks great! =D
